A mighty group of community members protested the proposed development at 300 Tokio St, better known as the “corner of John & Junot”. One of the two largest developments proposed for our city (the other is on Arundel) this 400 unit massive complex will require removing the last bit of urban forest in the neighbourhood. It will also increase traffic dramatically at this already busy intersection. This isn’t smart growth, it’s poor urban planning.
